Chromebook pick up for Joshua Circle students will be Thursday, April 2nd and Friday, April 3rd. Please have your child's first and last names and teacher's name displayed in your window. Enter the parking lot off of 8th Avenue and follow the signs. Please remain in your vehicle. The schedule is as follows:

Kindergarten & 1st grade: 8:00-9:30
2nd grade: 10:00-11:30
3rd grade: 12:30-2:00
Friday, April 3rd
4th grade: 8:30-10:00
5th grade: 10:30-12:00
6th grade: 1:00-2:30

Good morning Joshua Circle families. We hope everyone is safe and healthy at home during these unprecedented times. Here at JC we have all been working hard in developing new ways to continue to support your students academically during our campus closure. Our plan for Distance Learning will begin on Monday, April 6th. In order for this to happen, we need to get Chromebooks home with your students. Chromebooks for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade will be distributed in a drive through format during scheduled times by grade level using our school parking lot on Thursday, April 2nd and Friday, April 3rd. Chromebooks only need to be picked up if your student has internet access at home. If you do not have internet access, please contact your child's teacher or the front office to make alternate arrangements for your child's continued learning.
We are asking that each parent/guardian display a piece of paper in their windshield with their students’ first and last names as well as the teacher’s name. We also ask that all of our families stay in the vehicle, and unlock the trunk or back of your car, so that a staff member can place your students’ chromebooks and charging cord in the back or trunk of your car. We ask for all of our Joshua Circle parents and families to be patient and kind during this process as we are doing our best to make this a smooth process while also adhering to guidelines to maintain social distance. The schedule for Chromebook distribution will be as follows:

If you have students in multiple grade levels, you will be able to pick up all of your students’ Chromebooks during the scheduled time for your youngest student. For example, if you have a 1st, 3rd, and 6th grader, you would pick up all of their Chromebooks during the 1st grade pick up time. It is extremely important that you remain in your vehicle during Chromebook pick up in order to ensure safety for all and to adhere to requirements for social distancing. We appreciate your patience during this process!

Our wonderful TK staff is currently preparing work for distance learning which will begin on Monday, April 6th. Each week, we will be posting work on the playground fence on the northside of our school parking lot. Please come by and pick up a packet during this time.

At this time kindergarten registration for the upcoming school year has been postponed until further notice. We will update you with new dates when that information is available.

Good evening JC families. In response to Governor Newsom's recent communication, the office will be closed tomorrow 3/20 through Spring Break. At this time we plan on reopening the office to take your calls on Monday, March 30th.

Hello JC Families! Tomorrow, Thursday, 3/12/20, the HUSD School Police will be holding a briefing on our campus. Please do not be alarmed by the increased presence of law enforcement on campus. This is an annual routine to improve supports for our student and staff safety.

Due to rain in the forecast the Hesperian Ninja Warrior Finals will be rescheduled to FRIDAY, APRIL 3 2020. Elementary will start at 8:00 AM, middle school at 10:15 AM, and high schools at 11:15 AM.
